Privacy Policy

This is a plain-language summary of how Payphora handles information. If you have questions, email payphora@gmail.com.

Who we are

Payphora provides payment infrastructure that connects Shopify stores to Caribbean payment methods such as WiPay. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit payphora.com, submit a lead form, or use the merchant portal.

Information we collect

If you contact us or request access, we collect the details you provide. That typically includes your name, email address, Shopify store name, and expected monthly revenue range.

If you use the merchant portal, we also store store configuration for the shops you connect. This can include store name, domain, operating country, checkout currency, shipping amounts, return URL, WiPay account details, and Shopify API credentials.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to enquiries, set up and operate your Payphora integration, process payments through WiPay, create and complete Shopify draft orders after a successful payment, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Credentials and payment data

Shopify access tokens and WiPay API keys are treated as sensitive. Once saved, they are stored securely and Payphora only shows a masked version in the portal. We do not use your credentials to access store data beyond what is required to retrieve carts, create orders, and verify payments.

Customer payment details are processed by WiPay. Payphora does not store full card numbers.

Sharing

We share information only as needed to provide the service: with Shopify to manage carts and orders, with WiPay to initiate and verify payments, and with infrastructure providers that host the product. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Analytics

Our production website uses Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic. This does not include a separate advertising or tracking pixel.

Retention

We keep lead and account information for as long as we need it to provide the service, respond to you, or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information by emailing us.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. To do that, email payphora@gmail.com.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do.
